These Plants Will Make You Happy!
Plants have the power to make you healthier and happier. One of the most popular housewarming gifts is a houseplant and with good reason. Plants can make a house feel more like a home, instantly. But, did you know they also improve air quality, your mental and physical health, and even your skin?

Some plants can even be used to treat common skin ailments like burns, acne, frostbite, and psoriasis.
Let’s take a look at some of my favorites to keep around the home and office and how they can benefit you!
Boston Fern

Ferns are great, and are pretty low-maintenance. They must be because I once kept one alive for over a year! The fern has long leafy greens that act as a natural air humidifier and purifier giving you a cleaner, healthier home. Everyone should have a fern because they’re so easy to maintain.
Aloe Vera

This easy to care for plant boasts fleshy, thick green leaves which are full of a sticky gel that contains the eight essential amino acids that the human body requires but can’t produce. Source –http://aloeveragarden.com/about_aloevera.html
Aloe vera gel is known to heal common skin problems such as sunburn, acne, and psoriasis. It also removes formaldehyde from the air.
Lavender

This versatile plant is best-known for its fragrance, color, and sleep-inducing abilities. Its oils are often used in cooking, beauty products, aromatherapy, and medicines.
Orchid

Orchids are sometimes referred to as high-maintenance, but if you care for them properly, this plant can be beautiful and beneficial.
Orchids smell great, which is why you’ll find them in perfumes and skin products. The oils can help you fight free radicals and purify the air. You’ll see them used in common Chinese medicine because of its healing priorities.
Gerbera Daisy

The gerbera daisy is a bright and beautiful flower, so it’s no wonder it’s popular gift when looking to cheer someone up. The vibrant colors are sure to add a little happiness to any room.
Fill your house with flowers for a healthier, happier you!
