What’s the goal of your blog? Is it loads of traffic? Or is it to make a living? I recently learned about manifestation marketing and the power it can hold over your success. So, naturally I wanted to find a way to use this tool in my blogging plans. Essentially, manifestation marketing is just what you think it is- using the power of your thoughts to help you achieve your goals. But, you know that you can’t just imagine your way to success, you have to work for it.
Let’s start with the goal of your blog. Is it traffic, money or fame? And, what’s your plan to achieve your goal? Maybe you’re writing great content regularly, interacting with other bloggers and doing some social media promo, but you’re not seeing the results you’d like? You’re working your butt off because that’s how you ‘make it’! But, if you’re not seeing the results you’d like, I’d say you’re doing something wrong. You’re missing something!
The Power Of Your Thoughts
Manifestation only goes so far and only works as much as you do. The only way to real success is a combination of both mental and physical efforts. By training your mind to only focus on the things you want and physically working towards achievement, you have a much greater chance of success than if you just practiced one or the other. Encourage your mind and body to work together energetically. But, it’s not so easy. You need to set realistic goals, work your ass off and be prepared for setbacks.
The Little Goals That Add Up BIG TIME!
It’s easy to just want a successful blog and write posts and think that’s enough of a goal plan. But, you’ll probably be left wondering why you haven’t achieved what you set out to? Why is my blog not successful? Why am I not making money blogging? I mean, you’re writing great content and publishing several articles a month etc. You’re putting in the work and thinking positively, so what the heck? It’s hard to achieve the end goal, without adding the little goals in between. It’s these little goals that add up, BIG TIME!
Creating goals is the first step in any successful strategy. When creating goals, be as specific as possible. If your goal is to be a successful blogger, you need to define the steps involved and attain them one by one. To be a successful blogger, there are many steps involved and all of them can be achieved if you take it one at a time. First, define your blog and your blog brand, then an awesome logo design and style, and then you start cranking out the blog posts. Now what? You create an effective social media marketing strategy to get traffic to your site. Now if success is traffic for you, you can focus on that alone. Including measuring views, bounce rate and interaction. Then you can work to improve. Or, you can plan to monetize.
Measure Your Goals
Your goals need to be attainable and measurable. This way you can visualize your achievements both mentally and physically as you go along. Continue your plan with a follow-through action plan of how you are going to accomplish your goals. Being able to measure your goals and successes is an important step in this process.
The measurable element will allow the monitoring process to be constant and will help to address any issues that need attention or redesigning. This way you can keep the goal achievement on track and within the time frame allotted. Otherwise, procrastination sets in.
Don’t set unrealistic goals and expect them to happen. Big goals are good, but only if they’re actually possible for you. What’s possible for you, might not be achievable for someone else. If you’re setting BIG goals, once reality sets in you’re more likely to lose momentum and give up all together. Setting smaller, easier goals and knocking them out will build up your confidence and encourage you to keep reaching higher and higher.
The Power Of Using Your Mind To Market Success
Music has the power to move you. It has the power to make you feel things. That’s because it’s a form of imagery. Of visualization. When you hear it, you begin to think and feel it.
Creating a blog visualization board can help keep you on track. Where do you want to see your blog in 6 months and how are you going to ensure that happens? Maybe you want to double your traffic, or lower your bounce rate or both! Maybe you want to monetize your site? What steps do you need to take to make that happen? And what will your blog look like once you have reached that goal? The more details, the better!
Use Affirmations To Create Success
Affirmations make you feel good, so naturally they encourage your mind! Don’t just think it though, say it out loud over and over. Ever notice how people with a positive mind seem to have a glow? Positive thoughts change your aura, by affecting your body’s vibes and your energy. Your emotions change, and mind shifts to create the perfect environment for success.
They’ll be bad days. No great plan comes without challenges and setbacks. Every successful entrepreneur will tell you. Using positive affirmations to shift your negative thoughts into motivation is the key. The right outlook changes everything. Knowing the end goal is the main ingredient toward success, and positive affirmations are the fuel to drive you! You have to be adaptable in your plan so you can handle setbacks and possibly slightly change paths.
You can’t always be at the right place, at the right time. But, you can be as connected to your surroundings as possible to help create the perfect environment for opportunity. It’s a busy life, and our mind’s wonder and are not always present. Being ‘on’ is difficult in a fast-paced world. Most of our daily lives are rushed and chaotic, but try to be aware and present in all tasks. Do it all with purpose and it’ll be more meaningful. There are people that seem to have opportunities handed to them, always being at the right place at the right time. Those are the people who are physically and mentally connected.
Believe In Yourself
Life is so much easier when you believe in yourself. Once you’ve got your plan in place, and you begin achieving your small goals, you’ll feel more confident in your own abilities. When you believe in yourself, you’re more likely to act like you are able to do it, and your body usually follows too.
By using your mind and your body to create a plan for blogging success, you give yourself the best chance at actually achieving your goals. It’s no secret. It’s in the little details. The small goals and the right mind-state to achieving them.
