Looking for the perfect free fonts for your blog and social media? Fonts play a huge part in your social media and blog branding. The fonts you choose for your website say a lot about your blog’s voice. They also help you communicate what you’re trying to say more effectively! Is your blog playful and fun? Stylist and elegant? Or informative and serious? Fonts are a powerful tool in your branding process. Use your fonts to communicate your brand voice across your website and social media. Not a blogger but looking for awesome, free fonts? We’ve got the perfect typography for e-cards, logos, posters, invitations and so much more! Let’s get creative!

Choose Your Fonts With Intention

The words you write speak to your audience, but the fonts you use set the tone of what you’re trying to say.

Changing a font can seem so simple, but it can make a huge impact in your overall blog design. Just change your blog’s headers to the creepster font and you’ll see what I mean. The words you write speak to your audience, but the fonts you choose set the tone of what you’re trying to say. If you want the words your write to REALLY speak to your readers, choose your fonts with intention.

What Difference Does A Font Make?

They both say the exact same thing, but one has a more serious tone and one is more playful.

Which one would you pick? See how much a font change can make a big difference in the tone of an image?

How Do You Choose The Best Fonts For Your Blog?

Use your blog voice. What is your blog about? Who is your blog for? What tone would you like to express? If you’re struggling to find your blog voice, check out Brand Development For Bloggers.

Choose a font name with your blog personality in mind. Fonts are usually named with their intent in mind. For example, if you’re a food blogger you could use Yummy Burger in your logo design like I did here.

Finding The Perfect Font Combination

Fontbundles.net has all of these fonts and more. With so many to pick from, how many should you choose to brand your website? Don’t get overwhelmed and don’t overwhelm your readers with too many fonts. I like to try and keep it to two or three font choices. One simple and one fancy. There are a ton of fonts to choose from, so how do you choose the right combination without getting lost? Play around. Experiment with a combination of simple sans sarif and feminine script. I spend a lot of time trying different font combinations, until it feels right. And, don’t be afraid to change it up and try something new!
