Forget Microblading! Try Microfilling Instead!

Don’t underestimate the power of a great set of brows. Eyebrows can change the way your entire face looks. They frame your face, giving it more definition! And if you’ve lived through the 90s like me, your eyebrows probably barely survived. Thin, barely there brows were in and for some reason they never grow back the same!

Stick thin, over plucked brows are a thing of the past and bushy brows are in! So, I fill in my brows every, single day! I have thought about Microblading as a simple solution to my brow problems, but it can be painful, costly and since it’s semi permanent, so you’re stuck with what you get!

Microfilling is a less expensive, less permanent and zero pain alternative! So what is it? It involves a pen that fills in the gaps in your brows and lasts about 24 hours! It works differently than a typical brow pencil because it uses multiple, simultaneous ultra-fine strokes and a long lasting formula. The ultra fine tips create a similar effect to Microblading.

Microfilling lasts the entire day and is smudge proof, because you know there’s nothing worse than accidentally wiping off half your brow!

So if you want longer lasting, more natural looking eyebrows, at a fraction of the cost and without the pain and permanent effects of microblading, you should try Microfilling!

I recommend the Benefit Cosmetics Brow Microfilling Eyebrow Pen! See how it has 3 thin tips to create a natural brow and the formula lasts so long!

Here are some before and afters:

How To Microfill Your Brows

The process is similar to filling in your brows with a regular eyebrow pencil.

You decide on the shape you’d like. What works best for me is to follow allow the natural shape of my brows and just fill in the gaps. I also over-line, especially above the brow, just a bit to create the illusion of thicker, fuller brows! Using small pen flicks will give the most natural look.

So before you go spending a small fortune on microblading, do yourself a favour and try microfilling!
