Use Your Emotional Scale To Improve Your Life

How do you feel right now? From 1-10, with 10 being relaxed and happy, and 1 being stressed out and crappy, where are you on the emotional scale?

Most days you’re probably in the middle, am I right? Unless something really good or really bad happens. That’s because many of us live our life on auto-pilot and so our feelings are meh… or neutral. And we only change that when something big happens. But the key to improving our lives is to raise our ‘vibrations’ so we can attract what we want.

The emotional scale according to Abraham-Hicks:

What if you’re feeling really low on that emotional scale? You can’t go from feeling depressed to love in an instant and trying to do so without climbing up the emotional scale would likely leave you feeling stuck at discouraged or disappointed. The key is to work your way up the scale, wherever you are, and when you’re stable in an emotion, you are ready to move up!

Using affirmations for self love can quickly improve your emotional state.

The first step to making a change is happening right now- you’re becoming more aware.

You’re probably familiar with the phrase ‘Thoughts become things’, which is true… kind of, so we tend to focus a lot on our thoughts but what about our emotions. Our emotions have great power in attracting the people and things we want in life. Self improvement starts within, and the first place to start is your emotions.

There are many factors in manifestation, including visualization, which helps raise your emotions.

When you’re low on the emotional scale, your vibration is also low. Low emotions are: boredom, frustrated, pessimism, disappointment, doubt, worry, anger, jealousy, guilt, fear and depression.

These emotions attract more negativity in your life. It’s normal to feel down and negative from time to time. Beating yourself over that won’t make you feel any better. If you find yourself feeling down, noticing that is the first step in changing! Ask yourself, what is the best feeling I can feel right now? How can you feel better?

The better you feel, the more you will attract what you want in life! When you’re feeling worried or disappointed, you won’t attract what you want no matter how much time you spend thinking about it.

How To Use Your Emotions To Improve Your Life

Many of us live life on auto-pilot. We are so busy and distracted that we don’t even care about how we feel. Most of the time we aren’t even aware of what we are really feeling inside. At best, our emotions are neutral.

I challenge you to spend a few minutes, a couple of times a day, journaling about how you feel. Journaling helps you get off of autopilot and live in the present!

Write down where you think you are on the emotional scale and how you can feel better. You’ll notice how better life is when you become actively aware of how you feel.

When you feel good, you attract good. Think about the happiest person at a party. How much attention do they attract? Their vibes are magnetic.

We all feel down sometimes. So how can we go from 1-10? We don’t! If you try to go from depressed to joyful without going through all of the other emotions in between, you’ll end up feeling doubftul and frustrated. You can’t force yourself to go from negative to positive. You’ll have to raise your emotions, one by one.

Use The Emotional Scale To Attract What You Want

Manifestation works through your vibrations. The quickest and most effective way to raise your vibration is to raise your emotions.

Your thoughts don’t attract things. Your energy does, which is a result of your feelings and emotions.

How you feel matters! But, how often do you even focus on how you feel? You may think about getting healthy and making more money and ways to do that, but when you don’t focus on feeling good right now, those thoughts are basically powerless.

If you’re just thinking about material possessions or experiences, weight loss or health and it’s not happening, that’s because your thoughts don’t necessarily become things. Emotionless thoughts have no real power. Simply wanting something so bad doesn’t mean you feel positive and confident about it. It’s when your thoughts evoke a positive emotional response, that the real manifestation magic happens.

Quality Thoughts Over Quantity

Become more aware of how you feel. Ask yourself often throughout the day, how do I feel? And how can I feel better? Take the best feeling you can at that moment and hold on to it. And as you begin to shift emotions you’ll feel yourself rise up the vibrational scale.

High quality thoughts change the way you think and feel. They make you feel good. Think about when you’re around certain people that you feel good.

High quality thoughts are inspiring, positive and optimistic!

How To Raise Your Emotions

Get off autopilot. Be more aware. Simply put- you have to give a $hit about how you feel! Now that know about the emotional scale, you can track how you feel and work toward slowly rising up!

Meditate. The best way to raise your vibration is to meditate. Spend 10 minutes a day in meditation, and it’ll change your life! That’s becuase it helps us get in-tune with our thoughts and emotions. It can spark passion and ignite joy!

Journaling. The most important step in change is to become aware. Journaling helps you get in tune with how you think and feel. It forces you to focus on yourself for once. Confidence. Doubt and fear are on the lower end of the emotional scale. Confidence isn’t about physcial appearance. It’s about being confident in your decisions, in your life and in yourself. Once you become more aware of how you feel, you can learn to appreciate yourself and your life more.

Choose. If you notice negative thoughts, which we all do from time to time, choose again. Re-think. Impossible? Try thinking of a few thinks you have to be grateful for. Everyone has something. Or do something good for someone and watch your mood change almost instantly!

Let go of control. Control leads to negative emotions like fear. We often use control because we are experiencing doubt. This is why it’s important to focus on your confidence, in order to release that doubt.

Trust your instinct and yourself. Decided that you want to fully commit to yourself and to making a positive change.

Choose quality thoughts. Quality thoughts are good thoughts. They aren’t necessarily a fancy car of new home. Quality thoughts are helpful and inspirational.

Practice gratitude. Being grateful instantly makes you feel better. Think of 3 things you’re thankful for. Write them down and feel the gratitude changing your emotions.

Have fun. Having fun is an easy way to feel good! Do something you enjoy and live in that moment knowing that you’re taking care of you!

Help someone. Helping others makes you feel good and attract good!

The bottom line solution to using the power of your emotions as the fuel for self improvement is to make a conscious recognition of how you feel about something that you want to accomplish or attract.

If the thought of improving your finances, your health, your social life, or any other area of your life causes you to feel anything other than positive and confident, you must embrace the fact that you have mental roadblocks that need to be cleared before you will achieve success in that area. Those roadblocks can then be cleared by engaging in whatever activity will eliminate those negative feelings. That may include getting educated about what it will take to accomplish your goal, it may mean practicing affirmations or visualizations, it might involve doing research on the topic, hiring a professional to help you, or even something as simple as voicing the disempowering belief to yourself.

Once the dark things in our subconscious are brought into the light, they are often seen to have very little actual power over us, if any at all. Weed out your negative, disempowering beliefs by being 100% truthful with yourself about how you feel about something that you want to attain.

Once you have recognized whatever it is that is causing your negative feelings, bring it out into the light, eliminate it, and you will leave yourself with nothing but positive and confident feelings about your ability to succeed. Then you will do just that!

They say knowledge is power but what about getting to know yourself. How can you improve if you aren’t even aware of how you really feel? Your emotions are a big part of your body’s vibrations. Once you know where you are on the emotional scale, you can make an effort to raise it and in turn, raise your vibrations and attract what you want. You’ll be amazed at how much this one thing will change your life!
